I must be pretty lazy, because I HATE flipping over my knitting to do the purl side when I’m knitting flat! I’ve always wanted to learn to knit backwards so I can just keep the knit side facing me! Here’s a great tutorial on knitty.com that goes over how to do just that – includes instructions for those who knit continental AND english style!

Hello! I know this is sort of off-topic but I needed to ask. Does operating a well-established website such as yours require a massive amount work? I am completely new to operating a blog however I do write in my diary daily. I’d like to start a blog so I can share my own experience and thoughts online. Please let me know if you have any recommendations or tips for brand new aspiring bloggers. Thankyou!

I love knitting backwards if only for feeling terribly clever when I do it. I wouldn’t use it for long stretches of back and forth but it is useful for short turns such as a triangular edging on a baby blanket or making the addictive (and popular) Lizard Ridge blanket.
I’ve thought about learning this but it seems like way more work than just actually turning the fabric around
