So here's what you do with the unjelled jam: (besides pouring it over ice cream, of course.) You make homemade yogurt and put it on the bottom! Never made yogurt? It's easy peasy.

Put 1/2 gallon milk (I like whole, any will work) in your crock pot, turn on high and wait for it to almost boil. (about 3 hours). Turn off the crockpot and let it cool to 110 (or until you can hold your finger in it for 10 seconds.) Stir in 1 container of plain greek yogurt. Cover crockpot with bath towels and let sit for 7-12 hours. (See how precise this has to be?) It will be nice and thick. Spoon jam into jelly jars or leftover yogurt containers or wine glasses or whatever, top with yogurt. Save 1 cup of yogurt for your next batch!

My husband has been on a pickle-making kick and we're having the same problem with our refrigerator right now. The pickles are super tasty though!

Your fridge sounds like my fridge! And I applaud the canning - I'm hoping to be brave enough to try it next year.

This is funny! I can't sew, pickle, jam, preserve or chop cabbage but I can sure have a go at the young-uns if they are getting on my nerves. Feel free to send me a jar of that delicious raspberry jam/syrup!
