What’s a girl to do? A multiple choice quiz.

OK folks, this working four hours a day is seriously impeding my, you know, messing around and blogging time. I’m low on blog subject matter. I was leaning towards a pictorial retrospective of Lucy the hound’s 30 months of life, but instead decided to head down guessing game lane. This time with some help. Here’s the hint. What am I making?

To help you out, the fabric on the right is a totally awesome ‘double gauze’ (what’s that you ask? I did too. Here’s a definition.)The fabric on the left – completely misrepresented by my night photography – is ‘ice pink’ satin.

So what am I making?? Is it…

Cinnamon. Flirty, fun, necessary slip and/or cami that could totally go under a jacket? Dare I say cool as ice?
small_1002-cover.png Chantilly. Clearly a dress made for both the flattering of me and the manipulation of double gauze??
Crepe. Sweet, simple. Buttons not required – a real draw.
Sencha + Beignet. A classic combo and a shirt I’ve been lusting after…

Guess away! Correct guesses win my admiration, same as last time. Also, first thing tomorrow I’m choosing the winner of the Cupcake Goddess’s ham! If you haven’t yet, get your name in by midnight!

Are you kidding? I was totally planning on going to Sewtropolis sometime over the weekend for some fun trim for the plaid flannel skirt I'm making for my daughter. That's a really fab job for you!

OK y'all! Thanks for playing! It's a little crepe and perhaps a little cinnamon. Or perhaps a sencha. We'll see!

Taran! I don't have beignet on hand, just easy access to it! And I finally taped together the waistband from Jenny and made a frankenskirt! Pictures swhen I finally get it hemmed!

LAP! Hey! I started working at Sewtropolis – that's my new job, Nikol and I got talking after she did the dream job post! Anyway – I'll be there tomorrow from 10-3 and noon to 4 on Sunday – stop by!

I'm thinking Cinnamon. But who cares really as ALL these options would prove stunningly fabulous? I can't wait for your project! I'm definitely in for the Crepe sew along with Gertie if you'd be interested in a local fabric shopping meet up for it too…

Oh, I suck at these guessing games. I'm sure you know this already, but the Crepe is the one Gertie's doing for her next sew along.

I'm kinda hoping for the Crepe, or possibly the Sencha & Beignet (why are you fussing with the Jenny skirt if you have Beignet around?). The others look far too chilly for this weather!

I say the Sencha + Beignet. It has a very fall vibe!

Like Laurwyn, I think you're doing Crepe with the satin as lining and contrast.

My turn, I'd say Crepe! I am thinking that you are using the gauze as a main fashion fabric, and the pink as lining and belting.

By the way, I hate the fact that the shipping costs of Colette patterns are so high to Europe…

I'll play! I hope it's Crepe cause I want to see it on you! But I'm guessing the pink is cinnamon and the gauze is chantilly..

I'll play. I'm guessing the sencha + beignet. No, no, I think it's the cinnamon.
